Team SA started Wednesday at the 13th African Games in Accra with a total of 68 medals. They secured another 10 medals on the day, taking their overall tally to 78. Swimming collected four golds, three silvers and a bronze, while women’s cricket won a silver and judo a bronze.
Men’s beach volleyball reached the final to be played on Thursday.
