There was incredible symmetry on the scoreboard as Jamaica closed out their three-match International series against South Africa with a 58-47 win in Kingston, to complete a 3-0 series sweep. In all three Internationals South Africa scored 47 points, with the series results being 59-47, 55-47 and 58-47.
The Sunshine Girls led throughout the contest including 29-19 at half-time. Captain Shamera Sterling-Humphrey was named Player of the Match, while goal-shooter Shimona Jok was named Player of the Series.
The Jamaicans had already captured the Margaret Beckford Trophy after defeating South Africa in the first two games.
