Jeff Coetzee


Tennis South Africa. As a singles player I reached a career high ranking of 184 and as a doubles player 12. In the ATP Doubles Team rankings.

I was ranked as high as 3 in the world and qualified for two ATP Tour Masters Finals in 2007 and 2008.

Won six ATP Tour doubles titles in my career and was a finalist on ten occasions. I reached the semi-finals of the Australian Open in 2003 and 2008 and quarter-finals of the 1999 US Open.

I played singles and doubles for the South Africa Davis Cup team during my career from 1999-2011 and in 2008 representing South Africa at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. I am a Professional Tennis Coach since retiring in 2011.

I have started working with Robert Farah and Juan Sebastian Cabal from Colombia December 2013 when they were about 65 in the world. Since working with them they have won 18 titles including Wimbledon 2019 and US Open 2019.

They became world #1 after winning the Wimbledon Doubles title. I also worked with South Africa Raven Klaasen and partner Rajeev Ram and Cara Black and Sania Mirza world #1. I have been part of the Davis Cup team as a consultant for the last few years. Currently I am the Director of Tennis in South Africa.
