Wesley Moodie and Dick Norman went out in the quarter-finals of the Open Sud de France ATP Challenger tennis tournament in Montpellier, France.
The third seeded South African/Belgian combination went down 6-4 6-4 to the French duo of Gael Monfils and Josselin Ouanna.
Monfils and Ouanna had earlier beaten veteran campaigner Arnaud Clement and Nicolas Mahut in a two-set first round clash. The winners of the $650,000 tournament were Australian Stephen Huss and England’s Ross Hutchins.
They beat fourth seeds Marc Lopez of Spain and Eduardo Schwank of Argentina 6-2 4-6 10-7. It was with Huss that Moodie won the Wimbledon doubles title in 2005.
