National championships move to Polokwane

SAARA is the official and only national controlling body for air rifle shooting in South Africa as recognised by the South African Shooting Sport Federation (SASSF), the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC) and Sport and Recreation South Africa (SRSA).

The next major competition will be the SAARA GTRA AR Open on 22-23 July 2010. The forms and info are available on the calendar page of the SARRA home site (

A reminder to all shottists are that the SAARA National Championships scheduled for 24 & 25 September 2010 have been moved to Polokwane (formerly Pietersburg) in Limpopo.
Please also note the the SAARA National Championships are now open to all members whose membership will be older than 45 days at the start of the championships.
