Team SA’s cricketers lost their Group A men’s T20 International at the African Games on Monday when they were beaten by 70 runs by Kenya at the Achimota Senior Secondary School. Kenya won the toss and made 141 for 6, leaving Team SA a target of 142 in 20 overs. They then bowled out Team SA for half that (71) in 15 overs.
Athletics got on board with a gold medal from discus thrower Victor Hogan. That took Team SA to 94 medals, with 26 of them being gold. Here is a list of how our athletes performed in Accra.
