Challenge Trophy squad

The South African Hockey Association (SAHA) has announced the SPAR South Africa Women’s Hockey squad for the Champions Challenge Trophy taking place in October 2009, in Cape Town.

The captain for the 18-strong squad will be announced in due course.

This announcement was made by SAHA vice-president, Sheila Brown, at the conclusion of the SPAR Women’s Inter-provincial Tournament at the Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria. The squad is dominated by Western Province, who have 10 representatives.
