Moodie/Norman in third round

Our top ranked men’s double combination has moved into the third round of the All-England tennis championships at Wimbledon.

Seventh-seeded Wesley Moodie and giant Belgian team-mate Dick Norman downed Andrey Golubev and Andreas Seppi in the second round.

Moodie and Norman accounted for the Kazakhstan and Italian pair in straight sets 6-3 6-4 6-4.

The big-serving Moodie and Norman will now take on Martin Damm and Filip Polasek in the third round.

This after the Czech Republic/Slovakian match-up had beaten the ninth seeds Frantisek Cermak and Michal Mertinak.

Damm and Polasek came up trumps in a tough five-set encounter 6-4 6-4 6-7 4-6 6-3.

Top seeds Daniel Nestor (Canada) and Nenad Zimonjic (Serbia) went out in a shock result, going down in five sets to English combination Chris Eaton and Dominic Inglot.
