About

The most successful South African swimmer of all-time. He defeated the great Michael Phelps to win gold at the 2012 London Olympics and has gone on to win nearly 300 medals a various international meetings. This includes being only the third person to win 18 medals in a Commonwealth Games career. He attended Westville Boys High, matriculating in 2010 and the school named their main pool after him. He started competing at the age of 10.
