Competition schedule for 2026 SASAPD Nationals

The cream of South Africa’s para sportsmen and women will be on full display at the 2026 Toyota SASAPD Nationals, where competition starts on Saturday at Stellenbosch’s Coetzenburg stadium and continues until Tuesday.

Sports that will be contested include para athletics, boccia, para cycling, CP football, goalball, para judo and para powerlifting, with a host of Team SA Paralympians also on display. They include Paralympic medallists from Paris 2024 in Simone Kruger (discus, shot put), Mpumelelo Mhlongo (100m, long jump), Louzanne Coetzee (1500m, 5000m) and Tokyo 2020 medallist Sheryl James (100m, 200m).

Other para athletes from Germany, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Lesotho, Namibia, Mozambique, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Togo will also be in action.

8am-12pm and 1-7pm: Boccia

10am-1pm: Para Judo

1.30-4.30pm: Para Powerlifting

2-4.30pm: Goalball

3.30-6pm: Score Winelands International Para Athletics

6-8pm: Opening Ceremony

Sunday

8am-5.30pm: Goalball

8am-7pm: Boccia

9am-1pm: Para Cycling time trial

9am-1.45pm: CP Football

9am-5pm: Para Athletics

11am-1pm: Para Swimming

Monday

8am-5.30pm: Goalball

8am-6pm: Boccia

9am-1.45pm: CP Football

9am-5pm: Para Athletics

10am-2pm: Para Cycling (track, Killarney raceway)

11am-1pm: Para Swimming

Tuesday

8-11am: Para Athletics

8am-12noon: Goalball

8am-2pm: Boccia

9am-1.40pm: CP Football

9am-1pm: Para Cycling (road race, Killarney raceway)

5-8pm: Closing ceremony
