With less than two years to go until the LA28 Olympic Games, the press accreditation process for media professionals wishing to cover the Games is now open. The application period will end on 23 October 2026.
The goal of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) is to implement a fair and efficient press accreditation process for the worldwide press. This process is designed to support high-quality, comprehensive coverage of the Olympic Games across all territories while ensuring a professional working environment for all accredited press representatives.
Written press, photographers and non-media rights-holding television and radio organisations wishing to apply for press accreditation for LA28 must submit an expression of interest through the Press Registration Portal between 31 August and 23 October 2026.
