Team SA started Thursday with 22 medals at the 2026 Commonwealth Games – with all coming in the pool at the Tollcross Internationals Swimming Centre. There is a crunch match between Team SA and England in the netball with the winner gong to the semi-finals, the loser playing for 5th-8th.
There are hopes for athletics to open their medals account, with a medal guaranteed in the men’s T12 100m.
