Team South Africa have upped their medals to 11 at the 2nd African Beach Games which are currently under way in Hammamet, Tunisia.
There has been two gold medals, five silver medals and five bronze medals so far in what is an ideal preparation for the World Beach Games to be held in Bali in August.
In badminton, there are two pairs in Thursday’s quarter-finals, in which medals opportunities lie, while in wrestling, Michael Grobler lost in the bronze medal match to finish fourth.
