The last of South African swimmer Roland Schoeman’s seven swimming world records has been broken in Malaga, Spain.

Competing at the Spanish national championships, Spain’s Rafael Munoz, 21,┬á won the 50-metre butterfly semi-finals in 22.43 seconds.

That improved on the 22.96sec set by Schoeman in July 2005.

Schoeman is still the only other swimmer to have cracked the 23sec barrier.
