Today, Judge Francis of the Gauteng Local Division of the High Court of South Africa dismissed all 131 of the exceptions raised by Graeme Joffe to the claim for defamation brought against him by SASCOC and certain of its board members. The exceptions were dismissed with the costs of two counsel.

The Region 5 Games are underway in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, where Under-20 age-group athletes from the approximately 12 countries are in action.
South African member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Sam Ramsamy and the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC) President, Gideon Sam will both be attending the IOC Agenda 2020 Session scheduled for Monaco from 8 to 9 December 2014.
