Moodie in the groove

Wesley Moodie is on an extraordinary run of good form right now.

The tall South African has reached his fourth doubles final on the trot after he and giant Belgium Dick Norman beat the American pairing of Eric Butorac and Scott Lipsky 6-4 3-6 12-10 in the sem-finals of the Ordina Open in Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands.

Last week Moodie, a member of the Olympic Opex squad for London, 2012, teamed up with Russia’s Mihail Youhzhy to win the Queen’s tournament in England.

Before that he and Norman reached the final of the French Open on clay at Roland Garros and prior to that, with yet another partner in Sweden’s Simon Aspelin, Moodie reached the final of the Madrid Masters in Spain.
